Scholarship Description

To enter the essay program, write a short paper on “How Would You Change a Negative Societal Issue Many are Facing Today?” This Essay Program is available to prospective or current undergraduate students who are attending an accredited college or university anywhere in the United States. Applicants must submit a 750 word essay identifying a current societal issue, that is important to you, that is negatively impacting some members of society. Please write your essay on what you think specifically should be done to rectify this problem.

Please email submissions to YostLawScholarship@gmail.com no later than May 15, 2018. Please be sure to title the subject line “Yost Legal Group College Scholarship Essay Program.”

Essay Description

Starting September 15, 2017, you can submit a 750-word essay on this issue, and enter to win a $1,000 scholarship.

Submission rules

To be eligible, send your letter to YostLawScholarship@gmail.com  by 5/15/2018 and include the following information in the body of your email: First Name, Last Name, Current School, Academic Standing as of Spring ‘17 (Freshman, Sophomore, etc.), College or University Attended, and Major (if applicable).

Format: Send only Microsoft Word document entries, with the file name “FirstName_LastName_MMDDYY”. Only entries submitted in this format will be considered. Essays must be 750 words, typed, double-spaced, and use standard margins.

You must be a legal resident of the United States, and attend a public school, accredited private school, or homeschool in compliance with the laws of its state.
