During the long weekend, it is extremely important to be aware of your surroundings on the road at all times and drive defensively.

-Keep your phone stored in your pocket, purse or glove compartment and always have your eyes on the road. Distracted driving is a careless and negligent act  that could lead to a fatal car accident.
-Wear your seat belt during every trip. Seat belts save lives, and police officers will be on the lookout for those who are not buckled up.
-NEVER get behind the wheel if you have been drinking. If you are going out, designate a sober driver or call an Uber, Lyft or taxi before you leave for the night. Drinking and driving jeopardizes the safety of you, your passengers, and those around you.
