Update Alert – Zecuity Migraine Patch Sales Suspended

The FDA is investigating the adverse reaction reports of patients suffering serious burns and having permanent scarring after using the Zecuity patch.

The manufacturer of Zecuity, Teva Pharmaceuticals, has temporarily suspended sales of this migraine headache relieving patch. The Zecuity Patch has been causing burns and scarring on patients using the patch. Teva will be investigating these complaints.

Health care professionals have been asked to discontinue using any remaining patches and to contact all of the patients they prescribed the patch to, in order to warn them of these adverse reactions.
